Key Responsibilities
- Compare source input files against output text to spot formatting errors, missing text, incorrect font styles, symbols, and grammatical discrepancies.
- Perform word-to-word and character-by-character proofreading across academic articles and digital publications with 100% accuracy.
- Identify, mark, and highlight errors to designated editorial production teams for correction.
- Utilize MS Word and publishing software applications to carry out document edits.
Eligibility Criteria & Key Skills
- Educational Qualification: Graduates from any Arts or Computer Science discipline (B.A., B.Com, B.Sc, B.C.A., B.B.A., B.S.W., Literature, or Diploma).
- Academic Criteria: Must be a passed-out candidate (2024 to 2026 batch) with no standing arrears.
- Technical & Operational Skills: Basic computer operational knowledge and good typing speed.
- Core Competencies: Exceptional attention to detail, visual accuracy, and strong English reading comprehension skills.
Shift Timings & Guidelines
The position operates on weekly rotational shifts:
- Shift 1: 6:15 AM – 1:45 PM
- Shift 2: 1:45 PM – 9:15 PM
- Shift 3: 9:15 PM – 6:15 AM (Applicable for male candidates only; strictly no night shifts for female candidates)
