Vacancy Details & Stipend Breakup
The 1,518 apprenticeship slots are categorized into three main streams:
Graduate Apprentice (Engineering): 457 Posts | Stipend: ₹12,300/- Per Month
Diploma Apprentice (Technician): 438 Posts | Stipend: ₹10,900/- Per Month
Graduate Apprentice (Non-Engineering): 623 Posts | Stipend: ₹12,300/- Per Month
Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualifications
Graduate Apprentice (Engineering): First-class B.E./B.Tech in relevant engineering branches from a recognized university.
Diploma Apprentice (Technician): First-class Diploma in Engineering/Technology from a recognized State Board of Technical Education.
Graduate Apprentice (Non-Engineering): Full-time Degree in Arts, Science, Commerce, or Management (BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, BBM, BCA, etc.) from a UGC-recognized university.
2. Passing Year & Residency
Candidates must have graduated in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, or May 2026.
Applicants must be domiciled residents of Tamil Nadu.
3. Ineligibility
Candidates who have already undergone or are currently pursuing apprenticeship training elsewhere are not eligible.
Candidates with 1 year or more of prior job work experience cannot apply.
Selection Process & Timeline
Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted based on the aggregate percentage obtained in their respective degree or diploma exams.
Certificate Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for physical document verification at the designated TNSTC regional office (tentatively at Trichy).
