Job Description – Trainee Copy Editing
TNQ Tech is hiring fresh graduates for the role of Trainee Copy Editor. Selected candidates will work on manuscripts and articles submitted by authors and ensure they meet publishers’ language and style requirements.
This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy reading, language refinement, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit documents as per publisher language and style guidelines
- Check manuscripts for punctuation, spelling, grammar, and clarity
- Ensure subject–verb agreement and consistency
- Prepare documents for the next stage of language editing
- Convert content into marked-up documents
- Maintain quality and accuracy standards
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Graduates / Postgraduates in Life Science disciplines (No standing arrears)
- Excellent English communication skills (written & verbal)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail
- Enthusiastic learner with interest in reading and editing
- Commitment to long-term work

Shift Timings
Candidates must be flexible to work in rotational shifts:
- Shift 1: 6:15 AM – 1:45 PM
- Shift 2: 1:45 PM – 9:15 PM
- Shift 3: 9:15 PM – 6:00 AM
