🧑💻 About the Role
Amazon SDEs design, develop, and maintain highly scalable systems in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be involved in building products and features from scratch while working in agile teams where development cycles are measured in weeks, not years.
If you enjoy solving complex problems, working with large-scale distributed systems, and seeing the real-world impact of your code, this role is for you.
📌 Key Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional Amazon teams to design and launch new products and services
- Design and build innovative solutions in a large distributed computing environment
- Develop scalable, fault-tolerant, and low-cost distributed systems
- Work on distributed storage, indexing, and querying systems
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for broadly defined problems
- Follow agile development practices to deliver high-quality software
🎓 Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Strong understanding of:

- Data Structures & Algorithms

- Knowledge of at least one programming language:

- Prior technical internship experience
- Exposure to distributed or multi-tiered systems
- Knowledge of algorithms and relational databases
- Understanding of optimization techniques (linear / non-linear)
- Strong communication skills to explain technical challenges and solutions
