Roles & Responsibilities
Call insurance payers to resolve claims (denial & non-denial)
Review claims using PMS and internal systems
Follow SOPs, workflow documentation, issue logs, and trackers
Identify trends, payer issues, and process improvements
Escalate complex cases to supervisors or lead billing specialists
Participate in RCM and process training sessions
Investigate patient account issues including timelines and reimbursements
Identify non-calling accounts and resolve them analytically
